The major indicators of vitamin deficiency 💊

 

Vitamin A deficiency: 

Dry, brittle, thinning hair; brittle nails; cracked lips; damage to mucous membranes (trachea, mouth, GI tract); reduced vision; rashes, dry and flaky skin. 

 

Vitamin B3 deficiency: 

Weakness and chronic fatigue; regular headaches; restlessness and nervousness; high blood pressure. 

 

Vitamin B12 deficiency: 

Anaemia; glossitis; hair loss; gastritis. 

 

Vitamin C deficiency: 

Susceptibility to colds and bacterial infections; nosebleeds; bad breath. 

 

Vitamin E deficiency: 

Prone to allergies of various kinds; muscular dystrophy; pain in the legs due to impaired limb nutrition; occurrence of trophic ulcers and development of thrombophlebitis; changes in gait; occurence of pigment spots.
